FullSizeRender (1)Casey Koone was born and raised in Northern California, and later moved to Missoula, Montana, where he attended the University of Montana, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a concentration in Criminology, and a minor in Psychology.

After college, Casey spent the next four years working in Bozeman, Montana, as a paralegal at a prominent civil litigation firm. As a paralegal, Casey played a central role in preparing several high-profile and multimillion dollar lawsuits for trial. Casey’s early law firm experience helped to prepare him for the legal field long before he completed law school.

Casey attended Western State University, in Fullerton, California, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2012. As a law student, Casey worked at the California Court of Appeal, in Riverside, California, and was awarded the school’s distinguished public service award. Casey performed near the top of his class, earning awards for academic performance by the Witkin Legal Institute, in Real Property, Uniform Commercial Code Sales, and for applied skills in Trial Practice.

After law school, Casey has dedicated himself to serving the local business community. Casey started his own small business and law practice immediately after passing the California Bar Exam, and his passion, candor, and reputation for doing quality work has led many people to trust him with their business needs. Casey Koone is now a partner at Modern Legal, and he continues to dedicate the bulk of his time to assisting the local business community.

When not practicing law, Casey enjoys taking road trips and seeing the many sights to be found in Southern California. Casey is a dog-lover, and always loves to make time for exercise with his best-friend, Lily.

Casey Koone is licensed to practice law in the State of California, including all state courts, and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Casey is a member in good standing with the State Bar of California, and the Orange County Bar Association.
